It is 55 degrees here. My 2 year old was running around on the porch in a t-shirt and lightweight pants yesterday.
I hear this weird warm spell is confusing the deer, not that I can go hunting though... I am going to take my daughter out a couple times with an open sights 20 ga and pray hard (she has shot it one time). Maybe she will get lucky...
If it does not rain, I will go up to the pasture area and grapple some walnut limbs and tops to my firewood cutting pile. I also need to one handed load my truck with all the stuff he cut for me yesterday (and there is quite a bit of that!).
Thanksgiving dinner is out at a restaurant this year (I hate that) so the good news is I'm not a whirling dervish assistant housecleaner in prep for T-Day... Plus my BIL's step-Dad died last week. So they are in Oregon for funeral and in process of moving back there to care for his mother. Right thing to do (Family comes first), but seperating my wife and her sister by 3,000+ miles stinks.
The next two days of work should be quiet (as was yesterday). That is nice.
Be well all TBN'ers. I love you guys.
David
