I'm away for a few days and found a remote control switch that another member here setup to use for a block heater. I've found one of these on ebay from someone who will ship to Canada (only one available) but it appears to only have a two pronged female outlet.

I don't recall if the block heater plug on the tractor has two or three prongs.

If you are close to your tractor and don't mind checking, I'd appreciate that.

I'd like to help out but don't know where to look. Not much use for a block heater in California - at least the valleys.

Was the block heater a special order or all they all equipped that way?

It would seem that a Kubota dealer would know the answer - give one a call.

Are you talking about the type of remote that the heater plugs into and then a push button remote similar to a garage door opener is used to activate it? If that is the type you want look on Amazon for a Carlon 2190 and see if that would suit your needs. I bought one a few years ago to control my pressure washer when the original switch went bad and I couldn't find a replacement. It is three prong and works well. I am sure Amazon ships to Canada, if not let me know and I could probably send you one.
To answer your original question, the heaters on my F250, BX23 and Allis Chalmers 5040 all use a three prong plug but I wouldn't be afraid to use a 3 prong to 2 prong adapter on them.
