The quality of music of all types is very high in former USSR countries. You should hear their jazz bands. I don't know how much truly original music is being composed there but the performers are top notch.

I have a friend who sends me links to the oddest things. He sent me that link and I've enjoyed sharing it with you folks too. I've been back to watch it several times and see something new each time. Who says the Red Army doesn't know a great song or how to smile and have a good time?
