The "plastic wannabees" are light and conceal easily. I still wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of one. When I'm boppin' around the farm and in the woods, I carry my Taurus model 66, 6.5" bbl, .357 mag.. Good enough for anything I'm likely to encounter, but not very practical for carrying around town. I like to match the appropriate tool for the job.I just can't warm up to 'toy' guns though I know the LC's are popular b ecause of price and size.
I normally carry my Kimber full size Crimson Carry in the winter under a jacket and in th summer, a Bond 45-410 derringer in my breast pocket of my jacket.
The 45 Long Colt -410 shotshell mught ony be 2 shots but it's 2 FATAL shots if the need arises and the Kimber in 45 auto with 9 rounds is a sure crowd pleaser...
Those toy poppers are for dumb blondes....
Real men carry real guns, not plastic wannabee's.![]()
LCR is a great choice. It's what I would carry, if I carried a revolver.
I carry the LCP. Ruger LCP Centerfire Pistol Models
It's flatter, and holds more ammo. Plus, I can shoot it more accurately than I can a snubbie wheelgun. Because of it's compact size, I can carry one in both of my front pockets. Like they say, "the fastest reload is a second gun."Another plus to double carry is that if one hand is injured, or is prevented from drawing, the other hand could save your life. Also, you control access to your gun when it's in a front pocket.
