I also remember no defrosters, no heated seats. When someone tells me they dont make them like they used to, I always say I'm very glad of that
Using the same reasoning, I always say that a poor memory is what made the good old days so good.
The Toyota hybrid nimh battery is 245 volts DC but that is a different animal altogether.

I can see it for parking tickets and other officers who are doing constant low speed stop and go. Not so much for the highway patrol.

Do you think it could be as bad as the 1975 AMC Matador like Dallas had that year?:laughing: I think the one on one Adam-12 was a 1972 model.
Still better than a Pacer...:laughing: didn't they offer the 360 V8 that year? For a while I drove a '73 Matador wagon with the 304 V8 as the parts chaser for our unit, I really, really liked that wagon a lot.
Still have the slogan American Motors used back then rattling around in my head:
