The Super Chains appear to be what I am looking for but they do not have chains for my 12.4 24 size unfortunately.
Don't get straight "ladder chains" on ag tires(R1's)!
Get the chains that have links binding the two cross links togther and if you have icy conditions, get the same pattern with the welded lugs on them. The problem with ladder chains is that slip between the lugs and are useless. Don't forget to use chain tighteners also.
If you can properly install tire chains, tensioners are not needed. Tire chain tensioners in ALMOST every instance are a money-maker for folks selling chains and a crutch for those that don't know how to use them.
Thank you all for your advice and feed back! I will check out the links and get something on order ASAP!
Should I worry about putting them on the front tires (I have to use 4WD here due to the terrain...no flat roads/drives in sight) if I get the ones with the aggressive nubs on the back?
