My mom and dad built the house I grew up in while I was in 3rd/4th grade. My dad's favorite saying: "....ummm - that's ok, a little bit of trim and paint will cover it." :laughing:

During my days working in a cubical I had two bumper stickers hanging on my wall: "A bad day of fishing is better than the best day at work". And "A bad day at the beach is better that a good day at work". Some bosses laughed and some scowled.

Here's a couple from my stepdad...

when asked a question... "What're you writing a book? Well stuff that chapter up your bu++ and make it a mystery!"

when asked for something I wanted... "**** in one hand and wish in the other and see which one gets filled first!"

When reminded he promised something... "I'd rather owe ya, than beat you out of it"

He had a million of them for when someone burped...
Bring it up again and we'll... vote on it, build a cage for it etc.

or when they farted...

The one I remember the best was "You will never amount to a hill of beans". I have always wondered what a hill of beans was worth and I strongly suspect he was wrong...
