Price Check 2005 JD 990 with FEL, BH etc

Martian, on the 110 does the BH come off easily and is there a PTO and 3PH that one can use? I like the idea of having a rugged BH and something with a thumb on it because it could help in picking up logs. I like having a BH because of what I can do with it if I want to move a little bit of earth which I would like to do. but I also like the 3PH and PTO for running things like a post hole digger and maybe a cord wood saw.

Looks like a very good deal, if the tractor isn't beat to death.

I had to look away quick because I'd love to have it. I loved my 790 with the 7 hoe. It's big brother would be a beast. It would end up in divorce court. I already have the 4310 with a 47 hoe. So I'll shut up now

Yep... it's got all those things! But... you won't find "cheap deals" unless the machine has been rode hard and put up wet!

They seem to hold value very well. A good condition, mid-hour machine is gonna be in the $25K range and will not likely have the 3pt hardware or the optional hydraulic package.

Indeed it does. You do have to make sure it says "3 point hitch package" as it is over a $1k add on, don't ask me why it's so expensive, but has a PTO as well. As far as the thumb, yes it does, again some have them and some don't. I'd look at the one in the link below. It has the front and bh hydraulics (for a thumb) but not sure about the 3 in the rear, the 3 point hitch, has a 4 in 1 front bucket and only 312 hours. VERY GOOD DEAL!

The tractor is in nothern PA, BTW...about 90 minutes from NYC (his words, not mine).

I asked if he wanted to trade, but wanted to have an outright sale, now is not the time to sell a tractor so I was going to wait till spring and either sell mine or find a deal at a dealer.
