Im sure that is the 'retail' price.. if you go to amsoil.com you can look for a dealer close by that will probably sell you at their cost..

To verify what dealer cost is go to the website and add a 6 mth 'preferred customer' package to your cart.. Then all the prices will be at dealer/wholesale cost..

Now 7,500 miles on a cheap dino oil, hmm, for me I would never do it..I have too many years doing UOA's..

TBN (along with every thing else) would have been long gone

I use to use mobil 1. Thing is, when I wanted to know what I was buying,(how nuch TBN, ETC,.) Mobil refused to tell me. Amsoil had nothing to hide

With a three second search you can see how much cheaper AMSOIL is over Mobil 1.

I found 5-30 AMSOIL at 6.10 a Quart and 5030 Mobil 1 at $14.18 a quart.

I found 5-30 AMSOIL at 6.10 a Quart and 5030 Mobil 1 at $14.18 a quart.

I buy Mobil 1 for $5.50 per qt in gallons or 5 quart jugs day in and day out locally at a dozen local stores.

That is not 100% correct. There is a commercial account that is even cheaper then a dealer or wholesale. Why, I was one. You need to buy in case lots, everything..

I agree on that. Mobil CS is the worst EVER..

BUT based on the amsoil website as a commercial account what you buy is NOT for resale.. So I think my statement is correct for ppl buying from a dealer to make sure they are getting product at 'dealer cost'

All I am saying is the a PC/dealer cost is NOT the same as a commercial business account. Been there....Example Saber oil is XXX for a dealer and YYY for a commerical acct (sold by the case)...

I bought a new John Deere 6330 tractor last spring, 105 horsepower. It cost 73 K with the loader and grapple I got. I also have a 08 Dodge Dually with Cummis, that truck was 34 K new, and only has 25,000 miles on it now. I know I am risking everything, but I am using Chevron Delo 400 engine oil, CJ-4 spec in both. Any day now, the motors will freeze up, and I will have to rebuild. I'm just hard headed, if only Amsoil was used day one, I'd be set for at least 40 more years, actually I would not even need an oil change in anything till probably 2018. I wish an Ams guy would come by here, tie me up, ransack my house looking for money, and then use the cash to order me in some oil. Darn it, I've got to quit doing that Delo, it's worked so well for me for about 30 years now, but is bound to fail soon.:laughing: (couldn't resist)
