72 inch Rachet Rake on sale at TSC $199

All of my local TSCs are sold out. Anyone willing to measure up their rakes so I can make one?

I am pretty sure I can cut the teeth on a buddy's plasma table and then bring it to a local metal shop to get the bend. I can cut the attachments on the plasma table also and then weld it all up myself.

I bought the 54" version today for my B2620, little more money that the 72" since they weren't on clearance, but if your in the Warren PA or Jamestown, NY area, it looked like the Warren TSC had two of the 72" units in stock with hardware kits.

Looking forward to putting this thing to workin the spring. What a weird winter, haven't even had to use the snow blower and it's 41 degrees outside right now, that's a far cry from the 32 days in a row below zero last year!

I scored a 72" Ratchet Rake this afternoon in Joplin, Missouri for the sale price. The guy said it was the first one they had ever sold. They only had one each of each size. I was pleased.

Greatest thing for road maintenance in my book but I have yet to attack saplings up north way. Manages the fines better than anything I ever used before. Adjustable angle of attack with bucket and can be plowed right in to base material.

Has anyone tried it- with bucket in float position- on ice?
A few years back we 3" of solid ice for weeks. I wonder if those teeth would tear it up.

Worth a try ... if we ever get any ice anymore. Lovely late January day here in SW Missouri, 60 degrees.

Thank you, Dishpointer a little slow on the response to Missouri Pioneer.
Missouri Pioneer, my apologies, I find the first thing that gets scattered and lumped up or spun off the drive are the "fines" the small pieces that do not lock together with sharp longer edges that lockup for a base and what makes a gravel road look nice compared to a hard packed rain rutted need of repair looking drive without small gravel top coat. I can push fines of to sides with ratchet rake and repair hard packed pockets or hills and rain ruts with big grooves and then compact slag together and rake fines back over the top.

Thinking of attempting to split a metal fence post to spread over back blade to prevent gathering fines before snow pack and frozen to hard pack area. Over size ends with through bolts for tension from rolling off. What do you guys think?
