I am interested in a plasma. I have 110v right now but might install 220 in the future. What unit would you recommend for a homeowner applications?

Scotty,
We have several models depending on your budget and cutting requirements. Assuming that you will cut up to 3/8", the ForceCut 40D 110v/220v plasma cutter will be sufficient. Its duty cycle is on par with many of the bigger brands, its price is very affordable, and it has pilot arc so you can cut expanded metal.

I could tell you about my experance with Thermial Dianamics which cost a lot more than longevity
Being on the road and not able to open up my new Stick Weld 250 is frustrating.
Get back on Wednesday and then I can see how it works. Looking forward to it but life sometimes get in the way. Will let you know what I think when I get home.
