Exhaust Bearings

reminds me of when i used to do electronic repair...

we had codes we put on tickets...

TSTU

DEU

DUI

were the most commonly used code.

the manager never blinked, but one day someone actually asked him whet they stood for.. he didn't know.. after the customer left he asked us...

DEU = Defective end user

DUI = Defective user interface

and my favorite

TSTU = Too Stupid to use

Needless to say we couldn't use those codes on repair tickets anymore. ( yes... people would bring stuff in for repair with no batteries in it.. dead batteries.. or mixed / backwards batteries, not plugged in.. etc.. etc... )

soundguy

Those are some good ones.. will have to remember TSTU...
I have had to put things on service reports like...
The orfice plate on the leading edge of the bovine emauclation valve got clogged and caused the knueter control solenoid to get stuck.
Good thing nobody ever reads service reports...

When I was in basic electronics training in the USAF one of the instructors sent a student down to supply for a fallopian tube. :D

I'm a ship captain in real life.....I made a new deckhand wrap himself in aluminum foil and walk up and down the pier waving his arms so I could perform a 'radar calibration'.

Well, I went though naval electronics school, and from what I learned there, both videos made perfect sense, and each lecturer really knew his stuff.
