We have water at about 125 feet but going around 350 feet. to hopefully get good water.

My ground seems to firm up pretty nice after a few day... been 7 days since any rain.

Stan, nothing changes a place anymore than having a well. The big trinity is electric-water-sewer/septic in that order. Good for you!

Yeah we have a well but only use it for watering the grass, has alot of iron ore,the neighbor just drilled one and had to go 500+ cost him $14,000,not in my budget(yet). We are on a community well between us 5 neighbors, bill is usually $18.00 but if anything goes wrong we have to split it. Are you going to irragate if needed, just curious if you was going to trench lines out in pasture, just in case we have another bad hay year:D.

I had community water within 1000 ft.... but they said they were out a capacity and could not add anyone.

He just passed about 40 feet of water sand but said he did not think the water was not the quality I wanted... I paid for 350 feet Nor sure if this is normal but the well casing is 4 inch...

They got to 305 ft hit something real hard. So they pulled the pipe and change the bit. Hopefully they will finish Monday.

Made some progress on a few other projects.

I did not like the entry gates So My friend Bruce and Andy (future son in law) reworked the gate

Before a 10 and 12 foot gate....

To this a single 16 foot gate.. much better

Also moved the observation (rifle) blind to the top of the ocean container..

The eye level is at 16 feet and the view is awesome.

Well never thought I would see this. I will have to temp. connect the electric.

They dug the pits to hold the drill water between the pump and electric drop.

They need to dry out before I can get in there.

Almost stuck the tractor trying to level it out some... Then stepped in an area sank up past my ankles......

So I ran the electric in conduit and will cover that with about 2 feet of dirt.

I will finish the electric in the am,.

I have no idea how long it will take for the mud to dry....

Water has no smell and taste pretty good... Going to send it in to Texas AM to be tested.
