Well, screwed that up didn't I. As I was saying the 860 is used for mowing, plowing, dialing, blazing and a little bit of everything. Finally got rid of the 656 and actually bought a new tractor, a Case IH Farmall 65A. It is used for loader work and hay.

I've only had 2.
Bought a used JD 750 4WD w/FEL about 10 years ago. Good little tractor, but was a bit undersized (and being so narrow it always felt tippy), traded it in for an '04 Kioti LK3054xs last year.
Thought the JD was a better quality machine (controls worked much "smoother"...better thought out placement too), but I appreciate the features, weight, stability and power of the Kioti. Given that there's not much level ground in northern N.H., the stability is a big plus!

R4s on the Kioti, ags on the JD. Undecided on which I like best...better traction with the ags, but it's nice to to chew up the ground so much with the R4s.

My first one was a 1959 550 Oliver, bought in 2000, in 2010 I bought a 1643 Massey Ferguson hydro. I just love it. Here they were together for the last time. That Oliver was very reliable ......

Actually just sold it today. Buyer has been here a couple of times to get it started. They succeeded today. Hasn't been started in over 3 years. With a new distributor cap/button
and some fuel it fired up. Hydraulics work and they drove it forward.

My history isn't so grand and glorious.
As a kid we had a 51 8n, a 51 JD A, a 67 Case 730, a 67 JD 110 mower, and finally a 68 Case 930.

My dad gave me an STX38 9 years ago to mow my yard after he had to give up on his. I bought my used BX2230 last fall, then listed the STX38 on craigslist.
Sold it to a guy who had no use of his legs. His STX38 (with a hand hydro on the right fender) had been stolen, so he was thrilled to find mine listed. Ironically, the day he came to pick it up was the night my dad passed away.
