And I thought my 450 Bushmaster was costly at ~$26/box compared to the 50 beowolf and 458 socom (both in the $50/box range - when you can find it)

Im pretty sure no one make a .22 adapter for the safari rifles either LOL

Not adapters but inserts -- MCA sports in Anchorage Alaska will make an insert for over forty calibre in any break action as I remember

:confused2::cool::D No NO NO! don't try to use one gun for two things when two or ,even better ,three will do. After all once you get past six or seven guns in the safe She Who Must Be Obeyed
loses count and just thinks of them as "all those D** guns". One time I was helping a couple of new hunters study for there hunting safety test and had pulled out most of mine and spread them on the dinning room table to go over the different action types. SWMBO entered the room and looked at the spread and said " You really DO have a virtual arsenal"

i've made up a sheet with my guns and my tractors on it, and their approx value, and offer / sell prices in case something happens to me prematurely. mind you I have it in a sealed envelope.. so she only gets to see the real #'s after I'm safely dead.. :)

A wise strategy I'm sure.
In my case I haven't been extravagant so $4000 would cover the lot including scopes and if you had to sell them I think you could get that, though all of mine show signs of regular use. Three way split for the girls anyway so they all get a couple.

So true. I had a friend pass away a couple years ago. He had moved across country. He had a gun collection, and some classic Chevy cars; Camaro indy Pace car, chevelle, about 8 of them.

She did not know thier worth; family member "helped" sell them. Practically gave them away.
