100+ HP Kubota - any good?

Your 125 probably has a total load configureation of less then 20,000 lbs when used correctly so sometimes the numbers will get you into trouble. The 140 also runs a heavier front axle I believe getting up to a class five. Balance is the most important part when operating a tractor.

As far as hitch lift and loader capacities I go by break-out force. That is about the only thing you will ever feel is when it won't do it! That is unless you know your dealing with pallets at x lbs.

I have the 125 Pro. It was also cheaper than the comparable JD.

Kubota's new M-Series tractors: Kubota's new M-Series tractors

Just saw the M135X leaving the local dealer's lot with a FEL. That is one BIG tractor. 118 PTO HP is also a lot of power too from a 135 HP engine.

We have a M135X I really like it a lot there are some things that I don't like.. the instructor seat it isn't that comfortable and the 3 point hitch needs to be stronger it is already great but it could be better, but overall the machine is great

Some of the points that are being commented on seem in line with the introduction of the new Grand X series just announced in Feb. Youtube has a couple of videos from one of the bigger farm shows and they go over the new features:

- larger more roomier cab ie" 10" wider, 7" taller
- larger more comfortable second seat
- panoramic view
- more modernized
- standard 24 speed transmission
- increased 3PH lift capacity
- etc.

So it looks like Kubota took note and has addressed a lot of the concerns / issues.

there is a 3pt lift assist kit that can be added if this is really a problem for you.
