Huh, oh well I will still look into other brands, I'm sure I wouldn't break anything while it is still under warranty anyways, that wouldn't be my kind of luck, it would be the day after the warranty expires and boom, catastrophic failure, lol.

Remember the warranty on drivetrain is four years on Kioti, no hour limit.
Personally, I wouldn't want to void it for a different hoe brand.

I'm not sure a backhoe could void your warranty all together, from what I have been told by other dealers and how it is worded in the wording you posted it says damage caused by backhoes or loaders of different brand, it doesn't say if you have different brands it will void your entire warranty, though that is something to ask about. I can't see a backhoe causing damage to a drivetrain, at least not if used properly.

That wording also mentions non Kioti implements, I highly doubt if you buy a King Cutter or any other such implement like a roto tiller that isn't Kioti that they would void the warranty on the whole tractor, I would say only void damage which was caused by that implement.

I don't think legally speaking that would stand in court I can say I'm not responsible for tearing your car up but in court that could be a different story

What are you saying that using aftermarket 3point implements could void your tractor warranty? Or that it probably wouldn't? I'd say if that voids your warranty than pretty much everyone who owns a tractor has a void warranty because I don't know of anyone who buys only brand name implements, I'm sure some do, but that would have to get expensive I'd think.

In emailing the representative from Woods he has assured me that Woods will warranty the hoe and the tractor it is on as long as it is properly installed and used for applications for which it is intended, whatever that means. So if the tractor company won't warranty damage from a aftermarket hoe, apparently the hoe company will in some cases.

Unless its written into their warranty document they can tell you to pound salt- not saying they will, but most warranties exclude any agreement outside the actual document whether written or spoken.

1) with a Woods subframe it is very unlikely you will damage your tractor simply as a result of using the BH. In other words, the Woods engineers are not idiots and have designed an appropriate system to stabilize the BH and protect the tractor. They have been doing this for a while and are still in business with an excellent reputation.

2) Woods has to agree to any "gap" warranty in order to sell their BHs. They are not faking that. The company couldn't sell against OEM BHs if they did not do this.

3) The biggest risk is not Woods or Kioti but rather that the dealer's mechanic does something wrong installing the device. That is the only area of possible confusion as there are now three parties (dealer, Woods, Kioti) angling for who pays what. If it is just dealer vs Kioti, well you can imagine how that would work out. Still, it would be in the interests of all three to resolve a warranty claim and to date I don't recall hearing of anyone who got screwed because they had a non Kioti backhoe.
