If I were a JD engineer: I would make sure all of the grease fittings were noted in the owners manual and put the fittings in locations where you can actually get to them!
If I were a JD engineer: I would make sure all changes to the owners manual actually get back to the owner.
If I were a JD engineer: I would make the 4 wheel/2 wheel drive lever easier to get to, or make it a push/pull switch so my wife would actually take it out of 4 wheel drive when cutting around the trees and bushes.
If I were a JD engineer: I would put a temperature gage on the dash especially since they engineered the front radiator screen to catch and retain all grass clippings causing the engine to overheat.
If I were a JD engineer: I would put the fuel filler cap a little bit closer to the side of the hood so my wife won't lean the can on the hood while she is fueling the machine causing scratches to my poor babies shinny green paint.
If I were a JD engineer: I would engineer the rear tail lights so they didn't stick out and catch every branch my wife gets close to. Poor branches and poor light housings. I've had to cut one and replace the other.
If I were a JD engineer: I would and of course the cup holder ( I successfully modified mine so my wife wouldn't keep on loosing her water bottle) and tool storage. (I added two ammo boxes for my storage needs.
If I were a JD engineer: I would make sure every tractor made comes with a tractor washer as pretty as mine!
