A tip for those who clean their tractor.

Oh, just hang it from the GPS sensor. That's where mine is.

Not Pine ... "New Car Scent" and yes mine hangs from the GPS mounting bracket. Mine get a good bath after every "real dirty" job and waxed at least twice a year ... sometimes three.

glade to here about the rejex thanks for posting and yea i wax my nh every other year just hood and fenders wash it after every use if it's dirty.:)

Rejex has nearly a cult following with the Corvette crowd. Put it and buff off fairly quick or it is hard to remove.

I rip up old flannel sheets into rag sized pieces and use a few of those to wipe up excess smears after greasing the dear tractor, I think I'll draw the line there...
Ok you have the flannel sheets your wiping the grease, just try putting a little Odorless paint thinner on the rag first then draw the line there. You'll see in an instant how well it works over clean dry rags.

My post was not about waxing, it is about cleaning the excess fel grease with ease. Nothing works better. I tried them all. Gunk is Overkill, makes a huge mess won't touch globs of grease and stains the paint. Green cleaner won't melt the grease without smearing it all over first, too much work.
This melts that grease right into the rag like a magnet, turn the rag wipe it dry thats it. No mess, nothing all over the ground. Just spot cleaning the grease ending up on the rag. Then with the same rag wipe all the other grease areas too.

Ready for wax but you don't have to wax it, your just cleaning the excess grease off. it's almost impossible to wipe the red grease I use with a dry rag without leaving grease residue behind that the dust will stick to. You end up smearing it all around. This product melts/ de-solves the grease away into the rag in one swipe like a magnet.
This is very mild with no odor and works very very well.

Then you can use any brand of wax you want if you want to wax. I just finished a 60 hr job greasing every ten hours and not worrying about the grease build up while working. My fel and tractor looked like a mess. You wash the tractor but you can't run the sponge over the grease on the fel it just makes a mess gets on the sponge, smears, etc. You all know what i mean if you wash your tractor with a sponge. Try this......you'll thank me for it.

Just a note I have not tried any other brand paint thinner for this. This brand has been used by me for four years without any adverse affects. I do not recommend any other paint thinners that I have not tried.
Guys look at that fel joint in the picture, Does yours look like that after six greasing in a row with just a few swipes of the paint thinner rag when done with the job?

Its easier to find all the grease zerks the next time you need to lubricate if you don't clean the excess off.:D

You say "This brand has been used by me for four years without any adverse affects". I assume you mean on the tractor. I hear the fumes cause compulsive cleaning in humans.

Even though it is Odorless that just means we can't smell it. Someone told me it still gives off fumes so I would use it in a ventilated area. Otherwise when your done it may end up it in your Gin & tonic.

As for the cleaning disorder I think my wife would say it's not working.

I don't know for sure but it sounds like the WaxMan would do a neater job greasing than the Greasemonkeyok :D
(sorry I couldn't resist our names it's even got an ok on the end)

Have you looked into a wax and grease remover? They are usually safer for paint. Lots of people use them in car shows to remove bugs, tar, and other road grime.

I have and it does work as well, But for me the smell of wax / grease remover really makes me sick buy the time I'm finished. Then i feel like s*** for the rest of the day. Some wax/grease removers are stronger then this as they leave a dull finish that has to be sanded for painting or waxed, So this odorless weaker product was a big find for me.

Yup, I never take offense at someone stating the truth. All in good fun, and I am not one for appearances even though I actually understand the idea of keeping your machinery clean and neat. I believe you get better treatment by the dealer if you have to take it in for repairs and it is clean and neat. If I have the need to do so in the future, I will buy a can of odorless paint thinner first.:)
