It didn't happen without a pic of the operator in the cab.

Thanks to everyone for the kind comments. I purchased a SQ172(6ft) Bush Hog today and cut my field. What a great machine! I new it was gonna be good but had no Idea it would be this good.:D Ford farm boy the lights were installed by the dealer but I have taken them off. They are made out of plastic and you have to turn them on and of with a switch on the back of each light. For $160+tax I thought I would at least get a switch on the Dash? I'm gonna install my own with a dash switch. Crazyangel, I'm getting either a WR Long or a Construction Attachments Compact Root Grapple. The dealer said It looks like the Construction Attachments shipped first. K0ua, thanks for the bedliner Idea. I had thought of a rubber mat but I think I'll go with your Idea. That's whats great about this forum.

here is a thread about the bedliner with pix on post 21 of mo old L3400. It will get dirty really quick but hoses of just as quick. Seemed to last very well, I had only a few specks of orange showing though, from working in mud and getting on and of a lot with muddy feet that brought small sharp stones onto the platform and grinding them with your feet. But I am only talking about a couple of specks, and can be fixed in a minute or 2. Overall I was very pleased with it.

You may want to look at one of these (12 Volt Halogen Vehicle Work Light).
I got one drilled hole in back and added switch then used the bolt for the remote to install it there . Now I can just turn around and turn it on as needed.

I have had my eye on the CA design for a while. I'm hoping to get one by the autumn. Please post your impressions of it when it arrives. I'd love to know how you like it. Thanks!

James, that's a great job with the bedliner material. I think I'll try masking after reading your experience. What brand did you use? Did you roll it or use a brush?

I used Plasticote brand. Got it at Tractor supply. Went ahead and got the gallon can as the Quart was almost as much. I scuffed the paint with 600 grit sandpaper, and used "goof off" as a cleaner to remove the paint dust, and rolled on the Plasticote brand bed liner and touched up also with a cheap throwaway 2" brush (harbor freight chip brush).. Be sure to stir the stuff well to bring up the rubber bits. I let it dry 24 hours and recoated. Yes if you were good at masking ( I am not) That should be sufficient. The pan removal was a pain. Good Luck
