This has got to be frustrating the h3ll out of their web techies. Everything else about this forum is so good compared to the others I've seen, it has to be driving 'em nuts.

I spent alot of my last months working overseeing a major upgrade of functionality for the websites controlled by School Board office I worked for. It was supposed to be finished by my retirement date... Last I heard (this morning) it still ain't on the horizon. I retired in January.

Same here.

Always was wondering what people were seeing when they said there is a huge white space. Well now I know...

Since the "white space" problem has been more than a little annoying, I took a moment to do a little investigating of my own, and it appears that the "white space" is caused by the space which would normally be occupied by the sites drop-down menu structure as it would appear without CSS styling applied. For example: Here is a screenshot of the site with CSS disabled.

As near as I can tell, whatever is causing the problem, appears to be "breaking" or disabling the JavaScript code which controls the drop-down menu and makes parts of it invisible until you hover over it with the mouse. It could also be some sort of CSS conflict, which is not unheard of either.

This kind of thing is what I do for a living and I could explain it further, but it's not my website, and I'm not getting paid to fix it so...

The administrator already explained your findings back a number of posts.
