Long white space at top of forums

Yeah, we know what's happening, we just don't know why it's happening. We had planned a forum update for this weekend but we're delaying that a few days due to our designer not finishing the coding. In the mean time we keep trying fixes but can't recreate the problem with consistency.

I realize that yet another post saying "it's back again" doesn't do much good towards isolating the problem, so I took a moment to run a few script debuggers while the error was occurring.

The error only seems to occur when the "underline" script is activated, or at least that is the way it appears. For example, this would be the resulting output of the "underline" script:

Here are three screen-shots, with the first two showing the results of two debuggers, and the third showing the error console from Firefox. The second screen-shot may be of some interest to you because the menu script happens to be one of the scripts showing an error.

It is really bad right now.

It seems to be affecting all of the forum sections...

This has been an annoyance FAR too long. If it's related to ads, how about disabling them until the issue has been proven resolved on an OFFLINE machine... I mean, we're closing in on a MONTH of this now.

It sounds to me like the problem is that they cant replicate it in their test environment (or their test environment is busy with code for the forum upgrade which will also fix it).

Maybe Muhammad will clarify.

Even if the new upgrade isnt 100% ready, it HAS to be better than this...
