Nice outfit. Looks like a comfortable cab.
Can look at a few different ways too. Doing the clutch work while they were in there may have saved you some money had they skipped it and then you had to replace it in the future. They would have had to remove the cab, and the controls, and split the tractor, etc. etc.
But still hard to swallow. And I'd sit with the boss at the dealer without getting overheated. Might help down the road.

I agree. A big difference between the initial quote and the final price, but IMO not an unfair one given how much more was done.

Sorry for the late reply to those who were following this topic.

I am really pleased with the outcome, the dealer did notice there was some over charge, so the decision they came to was to lessen the amount to $10,500 including GST which IMO seems very fair. (GST is a Goods and Services tax of 15%).

I have one more question, the SG2 cab door is very hard to close shut and everytime you go over a slight bump the door opens. Thinking there maybe something wrong with the latch??

Sounds like the latch needs to "stick out" more so that it can fully latch...

What the value difference between the $ and money in N Z? Hy-gard oil is plenty high in N Z @ $55 per gallon. The muffler was about twice as high also. AL35753 MUFFLER ASSY ADD 221.45 USD vs $450.87 N Z. 80 hrs labor is a lot but they did a lot of repairs.

The currency exchange rate today is just under .8, so 10k Nz is about 8k US
