I bought a light duty set (800lb) on E-bay about a year ago.
TWO items....they promptly BENT when lifting a water tank of 100 gallons....approx (800 lb.)
I E-mailed the seller and he generously replaced them with HEAVY duty forks.
They are MUCH heavier guage steel with deeper attachment "arms" and heavier lugs to cinch them down.
But.....they are HEAVIER.....much heavier, I'm guessing 70 lbs per fork. That's heavy for a fellow to install/remove often.
About the bucket.....after lifting water tanks 8+ times my bucket is showing a definate droop or bend in the center. Suggestion might be less weight.....perhaps a 2X4 from fork to fork where they clamp to the bucket or even a steel plate welded in the attachment area.
One other item;......lift capability. My compact Kubota has a 1,000lb limit. The bucket probably weighs 300lbs. leaving 700 as an actual load. If you add 150 lb for forks you are greatly reducing the lift capability. I learned this trying to lift that 100 gallon water tank.
