You guys don't know how lucky you got it down there. Up here you could use a rifle to disarm an attacker carrying an unregistered stolen pistol and you would still be charged with careless storage, pointing a gun and about 6 other things. Your attacker would have all his dental work done and get out on bail before you finished paying your lawyer....

It is something many don't appreciate. And then society ostracizes many of those that have protected home and life....

I would prefer the judged by 12 over carried by 6 any day....

I feel for those that are less protected than those who terrorize honest citizens.

We are very fortunate indeed but I am constantly surprised by the number of Canadian members who chide us for exercising our rights; your post is a refreshing change.

Roy, you have gone too far...this is a thread about pistol SAFETY. You violated the key rule of pistol safety and pointed at people who, I assume, you do not actually intend to KILL.

There are SOME who take such incendiary comments as permission to proceed. Such permission, repeated by you or others, will remove the restraints and the little voices in their head will urge them to unfortunate action.

It is irresponsible to target any person not an immediate threat to your mortal soul or that of another.:shocked:

When did all this "zombie" stuff start, and where did it come from? I see zombie ammunition, zombie targets in the gun shops, etc, etc. I think it sends a poor message to non gun owners, and makes the antis think we really are as stupid an unevolved as they feared. Or, maybe I'm just gettin' old...
