Well I mixed the diesel and permethin and soaked my rubs (actualy kids cotton pj's) I will see what Chuck E Cheeseburger thinks about losing his biting sucking friends. Heck I think I would rub fuel on me if I lived outside.

I have noticed the rubs around here, some have a kerosene mix and others use old crankcase oil?? I would tend to favor the kerosene, as it does not have the contaminates from an engine..far as I know I suffered no damages from putting kerosene on my socks for years to avoid ticks and dreaded CHIGGERS??

Kinda figured as much... No blood, no foul, as they say! I'm a city boy too OBTW, but spent all the school holidays on the farm, not a bad way to grow up now that I think back on it? Other than figuring out that I really didn't like topping tobacco and you never get between an ol' sow and her litter, those experiences were for the better! :thumbsup:

there are plenty of natural remidies I mentioned as well. the plant based poison pyrethin and the mint / clove oils..

Cancer is a pretty uncommon cause of death in horses. Over the years my family has had over 50 horses. None died prematurely from cancer.
