Every time I get on that little tractor I am just blown away with what it can do. I just got my new thumb welded on I don't know How i ever got along without it.

I'd rather see the thumb than your back.:) Get another picture or two, without you. Where did you get your thumb and how much?

Yes indeed! When I bought my BX25, I was a little worried that it was too small for my needs. After all, there are many people on this forum that warn to get a tractor larger than what you think you will need. When I decided to buy a tractor, I initially wanted at least a b2320. It turned out that the little BX25 is more tractor than I thought, by a long shot. I spend some time occasionally trying to think of how long a task I just finished would have taken without the little workhorse. I figure most of it wouldn't have even been started.

What do you use your thumb for? I use mine every once in a while to move brush and place rocks but that's about it. I'm always lacking reach or lift capacity to do anything else I want.

I use mine for logs.

I went w/ an Extreme Metal Products bolt on BH Thumb.
I was concerned over making heat effected zones and weakening
the dipper. be sure to post pics when done!

I think overall it is great. I only have a 24 and had a 22. The BH is too slow for my liking and power is lacking. Again just me. Trees longer than 8 inches take wayyyy to long. Easier to pay a friend a few greenbacks and pulls 30 inch trees in 5 to 10 minutes with a JD310G.

Also wish the FEL had a bucket like a bobcat. easy plate for removal and install. Overall happy just wish they refined it more.

This is the thumb. I got it from the dealer for 500.00 then had to have it welded on. It is great on brush rail road ties and I'm sure there will be a lot more uses. ;)

EMP or Extreme Metal Products has a unit for $389.00 or so
and it is bolt on. I really like mine. Works VERY well...

You do have to mount it w/ a good eye to be sure you get it
in that perfect spot where you will do no damage to any hydraulic
fittings et al.
