Peter, that is a fine shop you have. That lift is something that I would love to have.

Lol, I'm glad you guys like the clean shop! :)

Where the speakers are located is indeed a mystery, no wonder they sound muffled with no clear sound stage!

By doing a lot of the labor myself, and delivering the tractor to the dealer, I'm hoping to earn enough credit with him to be able to pick up a Frontier LP1208 8' 1100 lbs land plane with no out of pocket expense. To me that's certainly worth the personal labor time, imho, plus I get to really learn how everything comes apart and goes back together. I had most of the interior panels out when I installed the "dealer installed" options, which btw also saved me quite a bit of money during the initial dealer prep.

I'll leave just enough stuff in the cab to make sure the engine will still start and the tractor is drivable. :D EH hitch and fender throttle controls are gone, but other than those warning lights on the dash, so far it can still be driven.

I believe the speaker is hidden on the opposite side of the radio. Behind the cab light, but thats on the 5225, but they do share a similar cab frame. You should check in there.

I was wondering how big is your top link? It makes me want one real bad, I want one for my new 5085M ;) . Since I will be using probably only one SCV per attachment. I only wanted 3 for continuous flow. I would think 2" is a good size since my attachments wont be real big other than a 150 Gallon Sprayer, custom side dresser and some wagon towing.

(Not Peter) I would get 3" x10". It would be easier to control (move a little slower than 2")

Thanks Edward. I did find them. They are tucked away above the radio on the right side and in a similar spot on the left side. They are shooting down towards the operator, but on the right side, the radio is in the way. They are super cheap looking 4x6 plate units. I'm going to replace them with something better in the hopes that, despite the obstructions, I'll get an improvement in sound. Will also swap out the head unit and run a USB cable down to the right console to replace that aux connector that is there now. I'll need to do some custom soldering work for sure.

Yes, I got a 3x10 top link. I want to say the total length range from 20.5" to 30.5".

Dealer still waiting on some of the parts to come in. I got just about everything I can removed from the cab frame. The roof appears to be glued/sealed to the top of the frame, so I'm going to let the dealer handle that.

The only other thing that I need to figure out, is how to remove the leads from the round aux power connector in the right console. Looks like I need to insert 2 very small flat metal objects above and below each spade connector to release them from the plug. Everything else had removable connectors that allowed me to separate the electrical connections from the consoles. Go figure.
