OK, I'll keep my yap shut cuz I have no idea.
On second thought, it sounds like the knob is similar even if the adjustment is not. :confused3:

The knob's identical!

Have a great weekend everyone! TRACTOR ON!

The BXpanded "Under Armor" is looking like a VERY good candidate...

How many guys here own a BX25 and like this puppy (insert my hand raised high! )

The heght adjustment "Top" position holds the deck in the fully raised position regardless of the 3 point hitch position. Raise the deck completely and turn the height adjustment to "Top". If the knob won't turn to "Top", do the following:
Looking at the rear of the tractor, just inside the left rear tire is a linkage that controls the lift. There will be a gold colored bolt that faces rearward. Loosen the lock nut on the bolt and screw the bolt in one turn. Raise the mmm all the way and see if the knob will turn to the "Top" position. If not, turn the bolt another turn and try again. It shouldn't take more than a few turns of the bolt unless something else is out of adjustment.

harry beat me to it - this is exactly what I would bee doing to be able to turn knob past 4 to the top poisition. Sounds like the bolt in back of tractor backed out or nut weld is cracked causing this.

This is why this forum is so great. I too was having this same issue with my brand new BX 25 when suddenly up pops this thread and PRESTO! Problem solved! No need to call the service department again or go digging for answers. Just clear concise instructions that worked perfectly.

And Harry's stuff does look awesome! I've got my eye on a couple of items once the dust settles from the initial purchase.

IF the deck is in the top position should it drop down some when you lower the 3PH, mine drops a 1/4?''

No, I don't think so but I'll check to see if mine does.

I put the Under Armour from BXpanded on my 2360. I had a bit of trouble getting the deck to stay in the top position with it on, but Harry patiently guided me with emails and phone calls and with a little bending in the right places it finally fit perfectly. I am now running the machine in my woods without worrying about that plastic fan.

Yes. The deck must rise a little above the top notch position so that you dont have to force the knob to select that notch. The deck lift mech will then rest in that notch when 3ph is lowered.
