Here's an interesting thing I found.

Southwest Wildlife, where Sandy is living, will be featured in a National Geographic program this Saturday, Oct 13 at 5pm Eastern.

I hope to get a glimpse of Sandy. Check it out!

It's the Nat Geo Wild channel. Not the National Geographic channel. On Dish, it's channel 190.

Was it her that was on the show? Pretty good show and looks like she has a decent place to live form what I could tell from the show.

We didn't see her except for maybe a glimpse from another enclosure. The ones shown in the tests were not her.
She has a full bushy tail and an even coat. Plus they seem to have left a collar on her. They are walking her and clicker training her.

Here are some pix from a few days ago of Sandy at Southwest Wildlife. She lives with a couple of dog pals. Has a little pool to jump into. A house to get out of the rain and get some security, etc.

They are working with her to ensure her mental health. This involves clicker training, visits in her enclosure by the staff, walks and games. I really appreciate all the care and thought they are putting into her new life!

It's not the wide open spaces that she'd really enjoy. Or the chance to patrol and sing. But she'll be fine and will probably get moved to a bigger spot before long. She will also get a male coyote pal to live with when one is found. She seems to be happy and stable.

It still seems strange to see her in that environment instead of bounding around the yard or making eye contact from behind a distant bush, rolling around with Bei Bei, or chasing her to get my glove back. :laughing:
