Back to the thread subject Taurus TCP 380ACP
I have one and it has a lot of good points:
It's light and small though the caliber is lame.
It has no protrusions to get caught on your clothing and no safety. With one in the chamber it's just pull the trigger.
The biggest feature is the included holster which looks like a cell phone holster so you don't get any curious looks and awkward questions. To draw you lift the cover with your thumb and simultaneously lift the upside down gun out of the holster. I keep my CCP in there also.
The few times that I've carried this gun in public it was so unobtrusive that later I was surprised to find it on my belt.

I paid full suggested price for my gun and $200 is a terrific buy.

No, neither have I...but E.A.A., the importer, has been around quite a while. That's no endorsement of their products though...never owned any.

Never fired one, but they look well made. They have a "Floating Firing Pin" instead of a hammer spur. Not that large, about the size of a "Chief" or "Detective Special". A .357 round would probably bounce the weapon around and require concentration to maintain target.
