Let's discuss that statement....
In most robberies, no one is injured or killed, they just lose property.
So, most likely, statistics wise, the employee did not prevent injury or death, just the robbery.
In fact, by introducing another firearm to the situation, he most likely increased the chances of he and his co-worker getting injured or killed.
You bring up a good point. But who cares about the robbery? If the employee retrieved his gun to "save" the $2000, he's an idiot. I don't think that's what he did, he tried to save his buddy,(no man left behind). I have to believe he's a hero not an idiot.
I agree with the" comply to the robbery" part. Losing a life is not worth it.
