I'd have to have a four inch square tube bumper protecting that reservoir tank or I'd back into something and hole it for sure. Very nice set up. What do they list for if we might ask?.

i thought about that, but i never back up without looking first. but who knows, might not be a bad idea.

The rear tank weighs about 450-500# full plus another 90# for the hydraulic motor, so its real nice rear ballast for the blower or the plow.

I think those hydraulic QC blowers are the coolest things ever. Have you ever taken advantage of being able to lift your blower 8' in the air? I've love to attack a parking lot pile and just eat the thing. That cab is cheating, BTW.

I continue to run my 3pt blower with my open-cockpit tractor. It's just not fair....

yes, though not 8 feet. when i blow off the roof sloughed piles last year and this season, i lift it up 4-5 feet and take off the top section, then lower it to remove the rest. its amazing

and yes the cab is totally cheating....
and i love to cheat

It's a great setup you have there, and you are in good company. All the big jobs now are done with loader mounted blowers.

Check out this clip from one of the most elevated roads in Sweden, at lat 65deg N. It's taken in mid-May when they start clearing the snow to be able to open the road on 6th of June. In October it closes again due to the snow.

"The hardest part is staying on the road. When brush starts flying out you know you are off and just have to back up and try again to find the asphalt".

The blower is a norwegian Oeveraasen (Överåsen)

grsthegreat, thanks for the video. Certainly works 100% better then when you first got it before you adjusted the blower.

You would enjoy our weather today -- 10-12", wet heavy snow -- probably the most we've seen since the blizzard of '78. I was out for an hour before breakfast on my new Kioti: FEL and rear 3PH grader blade. This was my first experience with FEL in snow. If I had to choose, though, I'd keep the grader blade. It's really nice when the 3PH works well (my old tractor was very slow to raise when it was cold, didn't have stabilizer chains, etc...). I can back up and push, or angle and drive and clear a nice path down the county road.:)

It snowed so much on me, that my coveralls soaked clear through to the skin. Everything is inside drying out now. Will go out again and try to plow my daughter's drive out (about 1/2 mile away).

I assume it has a relief type setup to limit damage it the blower jams, most i have seen around here have a bypass setup . Therefore no pins to shear.
