Even the vietnam tractor recons with bulldog or v2 loaders have a structure that bolts to the rear of the trans section enging and the front bumper i believe?

This is also a chart for marine engines. Cause when you look at it it shows that it should use a little more than 4gal/hour @2400rpm. I know thats not correct, bacause i can bushhog for hours at that engine speed. Also who has run out of fuel if i used 4gal/hr @2400rpm you would run out in about an hour and 15 mins!!!

It says it's for marine engines. Boats use a lot of fuel because they work way harder than any tractor, it's like towing a bulldozer uphill at full throttle all the time. I raced offshore boats and played with them for over 20 years. They are hard on motors!

If you look closely (it is very hard to read) on the Y-axis it is labeled fuel consumption in liters per hour, not gallons per hour. A gallon is a little bit less than 3.8 liters, so the engine is actually using one gallon per hour at 2200 RPM, not 4 gallons per hour at 2400 RPM.

The Nebraska tractor test for the YM240 shows that engine burns 1.3 gallons per hour at 19.76 horsepower output, while the chart for the boat shows it burning 1.3 gallons per hour at barely under 20 horsepower as well.

These are full power loads, not full RPM loads. Running a mower may give better fuel consumption per hour than these numbers, but that's because the machine isn't doing as much work. Under no load but full RPM, the YM240 burns 0.37 gallons per hour. In light cutting it seems reasonable to burn under a gallon per hour while still spinning the cutter at the proper RPM.

OK I thought that was crazy your numbers are closer to what I see. Yea cutting grass is rarely at full power at any given rpm for me. I think I can get 8 hours or more out of a full tank of fuel which means I may get 3/4 gallon/hr while bush hogging with my 4fter.

Never seen that name on a loader. My Koyker loader doesn't have a frame that attaches to the rear only bolts to another bracked underneath and on the sides. Nice looking tractor. If you got it for 2 K you did good !

My VN made Bulldog loader also bolts underneath and on the sides, then to the front. Believe me, it has been fully tested. I do periodically check the bolts. never found any looseness. I'm not sure the 2000 has side bolt holes to attach a loader too. I will admit the fasteners just under the bottom only look a little suspect.

If you have used yours like I have mine. I can believe it. Mine has been tested time & time again. I took my bolts out after they installed my loader and applied loctite to the threads. have you seen that name on a loader ?? Is it a vn loader with another badge ?? Not a big deal, Just a though.
