Turboing my RTV 1100

What will you gain? It may be a bit faster off the line but will still top out around 25 mph. It seems to me like the engine is not to blame for its lack of speed but the hydrostatic transmission. And even if it would do 40 mph it'll still ride like a covered wagon.

I dont believe you can obtain a turbo for that engine from Kubota;
it also may be too small an engine for one of the turbo builders to manufacture a turbocharger

The other issue is oil supply and the oil pump may not have enough additional liters
per minute to feed both the turbos intake and exhaust side bearings and also lubricate the engine.

How often do you change the airfilters on you RTV?, they get dirty much sooner than what the
recommended service interval is just like any other cartridge type air filter as an oil bath precleaner
is not used. Adding an oil bath precleaner to your unit to preclean the intake air before it enters the
cartridge air filter will increase the performance of the engine becuase the oil bath precleaner is
removing 95-97 percent of the dirt and dust.

Easily done with the turbo off a Euro Smart car. The RTV benefits greatly from a turbo. Much better pulling power. Also have the ability to fly thru mud or other conditions that RTV's get stuck in.

The rack stop screw is easily accessed also. Be sure to put an EGT probe pre-turbo. I'd keep it under 1300.
