i agree with you mustang man. however, there is a youtube video where they did a weight test with curling as well that proved that these smaller machines arent up to the overrated status
I guess if he tries it we will find out on this particular machine.

Are you bringing it home on a trailer, or having it shipped to you? I.E. Do you have a little time to mess around?
If you can lie the bucket flat on the trailer, you may be able to push half the jointer into the bucket, and chain it down, then lift it a bit. It is close enough that I'd try it. Throw your heaviest implement on the back of the tractor, and perhaps some extra steel.
The most likely consequence is that either it will lift it off, or the hydraullics just won't lift it.
However, most of the tractors I've used have been over 25 HP with a pretty stout bucket. I'm not sure if the Kubota is made out of tin foil.
Make sure you air up your tires before you do it.
Depending on your situation, there are lots of ways to do your job.
I loaded a small 9" SB lathe onto my small flatbed trailer using a Cherry Picker.
I knew my tractor couldn't handle my milling machine, so I put a chain around a rafter, and lifted it off the trailer with a come-along... mind you, a HEAVY DUTY come-a-long.
And there she sits, right under that rafter.

I have a Grizzy Jointer, and while I don't recall the model number it IS one of the big ones (they refer to it as an aircraft carier on the wood working forums). Mine was shipped with the top unattached - but I don't recall if it was two pallets or one. I had them ship it to my house on a truck with a lift gate and they rolled it into the garage for me using a pallet jack.
The base is way lighter than the top, but still heavy with the motor and such. You might be able to unload the base off the pallet and cut the weight enough to pick up the top.

I'd use forks on the 3 point hitch if you could find s cheap set.

Agree with the 3 point forks, if the low lift height isn't a deal breaker.
You will probably have 2X or more the lift capacity compared with forks on a bucket on a FEL.
If you do decide to try the FEL forks, make sure you have adequate ballast!
Would hate to see you drag that pallet off the trailer/flat bed, only to have the whole machine take a nose dive once you get it clear of the support.

If you can get over the top of the crate, remove your bucket (more lift capacity) and see if you can rig slings or chain around the crate and lift it.
If you are able to lft it, have the trailer/truck driven from under it and lower it to just off the gound and move it.
If you can't lift it, you need a backup plan
