Yeah, they claim there is a genetic factor involved...I intend to explore that aspect; otherwise, the critics are saying there is no evidence to support a basis for such a diet. I do know that I have always been a meat eater, and that I never cared much for bread and grains (God's gift to man...beer excepted).
I can do without most bread and grains as well....except I do like a whole wheat bun for a hamburger...and I love Bagets ..those crunch little french bread long thin loafs...have not had any in years but they are great with cheese...which I also have not had in years...grains are meant for fattening cattle and other livestock...yet folks eat cereal every morning and oatmeal....then they eat corn, barley, wheat etc. and wonder why we have an obesity epidemic....LOL
