Well at least you get it now. 1/2 ton trucks are not HD trucks even with a 3/4 ton suspension under it like the Ford HD package. If you need an HD truck, get a 2500/3500.
Nice to see that RAM is still under rated with 3900lb axles front and rear. What size plow does that Ford 3600lb axle take?
With the new air bag suspension, high tensile steel frame, 6 and 8 speed transmissions, etc... they could easily put a 7700lb GVWR without changing the axles or drivetrain. I think they are pushing more towards making the light duty 1/2 ton truck back to "light duty". Truck capacities have gotten out of hand in the numbers war...
Actually I was making fun of the fact they market the F150 has a HD work truck yet sell it with P rated tires and lower axle ratings even with the "Max Trailer Tow Package". Your sticker proves it.
