855 anti freeze overflow leak

JD 855 after gettting up to operating temp leaks anti freeze from overflow tube. I replaced cap with oem JD, same issue. I havn;t run tractor long enough to see if major overheat problem. Maybe install new thermostat?

You can't fill your rad to the neck, the coolant expands when it gets hot and if there's no room in the rad the rad cap spring opens up and it spits out of the overflow. You might just have to much coolant in it.

But check the basics to ensure you have no oil in your coolant and vise versa.

Is it just too full? Mine runs down about an inch or more from the top.
