So a buddy seat is now a factory option? It wasn't for 2012, which was one of the reasons I went with the M tractor. I have a 2 year old and a 8 month old. Not getting a buddy seat was not an option!

I would suggest widening the rear stance, and get rim guard in the rears if you don't already.

Sort of. Wasn't factory but they ordered it and installed so I guess not a big deal.

Already done on the rims and tires.

$6750. Used would have been $5500 and there's no warranty and I would have to loaded, hauled, and unloaded after I found one nearby.

I love that set up. I almost went with a 5083e recently myself, but I decided on the M series. Nonetheless, that is a great, great machine. You're going love it and love spending time with your boy in the tractor. I think he did a wise thing convincing his dad to go green.

I'm slightly envious of the price you paid for the mx10, though. I'm about to buy one myself, and I have not found one for that price yet. That's about what my dealer wanted for the mx8.

Any idea on msrp for the right door kit if I install myself?

No idea on the right door kit price, but I am not too sure it is a good idea. When I was looking at the 5083e I thought that would be way too tight to squeeze out the right side (if there was a door). There is just too little room between the steering wheel and joystick to make it worthwhile. Just my opinion.
