I use my right door all the time... the way I have to park my tractor in the barn leaves the left door unusable. I have actually gotten pretty good at squeezing in over the joystick... ain't pretty though!! LOL!

I also added a hydraulic top link. It's nice to be able to reach in and adjust it via the lever when hooking things up.

One other thing I forgot: I scuffed the cab hood pretty good while repositioning my shed. I know it's fiberglass so no rust, but do I need to repaint this with a rattle can to prevent UV damage to the fiberglass? I'm not so much worried about cosmetics, but I'd hate to shorten the live of the shell.

I believe the hood and fenders are made of a specialized, HD plastic - not fiberglass. So, I don't think spray paint will help cover the damage. That said, the plastic is very weather, UV resistant and should last for years and years without "paint".

Would those touch up pens work? Or one of those things that you apply this stuff and buff and the scratch is magically gone? I had the same problem with my kubota but didn't know what would work to get the scratches out either.

Sorry I forgot to follow up on this. I called my dealer Monday afternoon and he said the same thing that AKfish said. He said I could paint it if I wanted, but it would be mostly cosmetic. He said it would have to be a very deep scratch or even a crack before anything would be compromised. I looked at it closer yesterday and it's more of a scuff than anything, superficial, and about 1" x 8" or so. I'll probably pick up a JD green rattle can the next time I'm at the dealer, but I'm not in a rush. Speaking of which, I noticed rust on the frame where the loader connects to the frame. The loader was just put on, so is this normal? I'll try to take a pic.

If it's a scuff, try polishing compound.

Here's pics of the rust. It's only around the front left loader support where it attaches to the block. The loader was added last week so this must be new. I'm thinking ill just brush it up with a stiff brush and paint over it. Or should I be more concerned? I included a pic of the right side without rust for reference.
