Here's pics of the rust. It's only around the front left loader support where it attaches to the block. The loader was added last week so this must be new. I'm thinking ill just brush it up with a stiff brush and paint over it. Or should I be more concerned? I included a pic of the right side without rust for reference.

I touch up most every paint chip or rust spot on my JD 5303. Might eventually get to a point where it doesn't bother me, but until the it only takes a minute to fix. I use both touch up pens and spray cans depending on the work area.

Most likely the dealer sanded/ground the paint off so the loader mount bolts would not loosen up. I would wire brush and then paint it.

Makes sense. I think that's just what I'll do. Hopefully the I painted area I assume is under the support will be fine.
