And you'd be guessing wrong, I don't even know anywhere you can buy fosters :laughing:

XXXX Gold is currently the largest volume beer sold, but that doesn't make it the best I guess. Personally I drink a fair bit of "Queensland Diesel" but "The Kraken" is my favourite :licking:

Interesting. I remember the TV commercial that used to air around here, that said "Foster's is Australian, for beer." So much for "Truth in advertising".

I haven't eaten "fast food" in 20 years, or more! It sounds like that is a really good thing, given what you mentioned!

I gave it up about 4 years age and don't miss it even one percent. Other than the fat, salt and sugar I can't recall why I liked it.

From my days in Australia visiting Perth/Fremantle/Hobart, it was always victoria bitters (vb), cascade lager, premium lager, cascade draught, clssic bitter or an occasional imported guinnes dark draught. Miss those days.

VB was number one for a number of years, but people are moving to lighter (less alcohol) beers these days. Here is an old TV commercial for VB :laughing:
