Did I hear a rumor that the new 900 is coming with the 1100 motor!

Not really sure if that would be a noticeable thing or not...They both have plenty of power...Just no speed. That probably won't change.

I agree, don't think it will matter. When they pull down on a hill it's the hydro trans that bogs down. There is very little change in engine RPM, if any.

As for speed goes, I bought my RTV because it wouldn't go fast enough to tear anything up. I do know if you accidentally jump a 6x6 Polaris Ranger going fast enough that parts of the A-arm and tire WILL come THROUGH the floor. (Ask me how I know.) I didn't see that being a problem on a slow-as-a-snail RTV.

I agree..I didn't buy my 1100 for speed...Once in a great wile 5-10mph more would be nice, but I don't think much about it generally.

In M or L I doubt there would be any noticeable difference...I have never run out of power even when massively over weight.

The only time I wish I had more speed is on the road but it will already out run my M9540.

Anything with a SMV emblem (at least in Virginia) is supposed to reach no more than 25mph (which they can barely do), therefore I can legally drive mine on the road, as "Self Propelled Farm Equipment".

We win by default ;)..I think there's something like that in PA. I never drive mine on "main" roads though so I can't be sure. I trailer it out there.

I can get almost 35mph down hill on our side road...Really gotta be careful at that speed so it feels.
