My brand new corroded and rusted BX2360 pics

I bet the parts on my tractor that have "good" paint are out of Japan though. Main orange sheet metal, engine and frame. I bet the parts with the bad gray paint, the ROPS, the loader brackets (front to rear connectors), seat etc. are made in the USA.

My experience with an L3700 is just the opposite. Both the orange and gray on the actual tractor (Japan) are aging poorly but the orange on the FEL, built and painted in the U.S. still shines with no rust spots. I have nothing though that approaches the condition of the OP's unit

Have you checked the engine oil, hydraulic oil, and the front axle? If there is water in it that would be a good indication that it had been in a flood but the could have changed the oil in it too.

What do the other tractors on the dealers lot look like?

just a quick check in, I;m on duty with work,I fight forest fires during the summer, As to the close ups. thats for clarity, as I only have a camera phone.and it will be fuzzy otherwise if I go back. I;d gladly get more, the truckload event is a promo day, they go from dealer to dealer showing off their new gear. and give you an $300 off that day if you sign,so it was 13 odd thousand we paid.there wasnt any mention at all of damaged goods. they said we went all over it for you even,the paint looks good.this was my first tractor like this. our 20 yr old lawn tractor still looks mint even. who would think to pull the grill off something new to see something like that, one expects it to be new when your buying new,if that structure or floor gave way when someone was driving down the road, can you imagine the lawsuits because the dealer said, a shot of oil will stop the corrosion sir.. .We bought 9 new L series tractors and a bunch of side by sides at work from them last yr and all were fine.

I bet that bad boy came over in a leaking shipping container and was washed off and distributed out with the rest of the clean units. Not enough damage to claim on Insurance at the port. NEVER seen anything rust and corrode like that unless salt water was a involved.

Kubota should be ashamed that a unit in that condition is not treated like a salvage tractor but sold to someone as NEW undamaged.

I would sue them if the unit is not replaced with a undamaged one. The longer it sits the worse it will get.

It was manufactured in Georgia, not shipped in from overseas. With the BX models, only the engine, tranny and axles come from Japan; pretty much all the rest is manufactured in the US. Hard to believe it left the factory like that, but something, somewhere, certainly happened to it.

By the way, I like your signature, being an Air Force dad myself! Well, retired Air Force dad, at least. My son retired in 2011 after 22 years. Best thoughts and thanks to your son for his service.
