Well, there are over a dozen actual owners who think the BX has done pretty good work for their needs and one guy who sat on one for 10 minutes and figured out it won't outpull or outlift his M7040. Conclusion? If you need an M7040, don't get a BX. If you need something small that pound-for-pound and dollar-for-dollar gets a lot done, check out a BX.

i said i would look at a B series i know what a BX can and cant do there 2 of them with in with in a 100 yards of me

If your Daddy was in the military, your still not a Veteran.
If your Momma is the President, your still not a Congressman.
If your neighbor drives a race car you still don't know what it's like to drive a race car.
If your sister is a Doctor you still can't prescribe medicine.
I personally think your full of, what's the word I'm hunting for???? , now what is that word ????, well never mind the word, we all know a word for you.
Do you know Tim the Toolman????
OK moving on. I've owned several BXs from the smallest to the largest. I've owned several Bs from the smallest to the largest at the time. I've owned one Grand L sooooo maybe I've had more actual hands on experience/ownership/usage than some (you). Your response hopefully was a joke and not a serious reply.

Thank you all. I will be buying a BX25D tomorrow after looking at B and BX side by side. I want the B but I can't mow easily with it and I don't want to have to maintain two machines. I want one that's pretty good with a lot of things.

Price is $19,400 with 54" mower and 3pt hitch. Getting snow blower later with money I sell from my G1800. Trade in amount was not worth it.

For some reason I can't take it until Wednesday? What takes so long?

Ask your dealer.:)
I don't think you'll be disappointed. The BX25 was/is one of my favorite Kubotas and most used that I've owned. It was so handy to just jump on and move something or plant 10 trees or move 5 trees or etc, etc, etc. Also small enough to move on my 16' dual axle trailer that it caused no headaches.:)
Again, you'll love it WHEN you GET IT!!!! :cool2:

Just like others have said, many times a larger unit bigger then my BX23 would of been faster, easier but over all this work horse has done it all for me and I would have to say maybe by many it would we considered abused. I have had a blown transmission, cracked both front end knuckles, blown rear tire and have replaced both fronts. Mow 5 acres and brush hog 5+. Dug up many stumps trees and bushes, (some stumps 3' across and dug around a couple larger so I could burn them and bury them), dug several foundations and replaced field drainage lines along my ditch. Dragged, cut an split so many cords of woods to date I have lost count. Roto till now only 1/4 acre garden. On my side jobs have dug thousands of feet with the BH for water lines, water hydrants, electrical and sewage lines. Leveled and moved tons of stone, dirt an snow. Dug a 20' x 30' x 4' decorative pond. As I have gotten older I have been slowing down so I am now not putting as many hours onto the now over 1300 hours on it. So is this really working the machine, I say yes and that is why I bought it. :cool2:

I've had my BX25 for 2 years and it's done all I expected and more. This morning I hauled out a concrete base for one of those old 12 foot satelite dishes with the BH. It dug it up and drug it out of the hole no problem. I chained it up and drug it 100 yards up a wet grass slope. It did that at 2400 rpm with turf tires. I don't know what the block weighs but as you can see in the pic it's a fair size.

I've got 30 acres here, it mows 8 of them with the bush cutter, 2 of them with the MMM, tills 2 big gardens and has run like a top since the day I got it.

I think you'll love the machine. Post a few pics when you get it home.

I don't really think about it to tell ya the truth. My BX23 is the only one I have and at 49 years of age, if it doesn't do it, it means my back will have to.
Therefore, I believe its safe to say. Its done everything I have tried, however, I also have enough sense to know when something could cost me a lot of money...most of the time..LOL and so far, I have not replaced anything.
I got an additional puff of black smoke one time dragging a one ton rock behind it, thats about it, other times I just reposition it for stump removal and work another angle, I may also extend my BH to the up hill side for counter balance if needed while excavating... It does a good job moving from show to go on its own with little explanation.
Not much "I think I can" in this little package.. It just does!

I had a BX23 back in 2003 and literally cried when I had to sell my property (10 Acres in North GA) to move to Houston, not because I would miss the place so much, but because I could no longer justify the tractor..

Recently bought some more land and immediately went down and bought a shiny new BX25D.. 80 hours worth of clearing and various work into this tractor and it is just as amazing to me what it can handle as the original BX23 was.. Just shredded my HST fan, but that wasn't the tractor's fault.. Cant stop them.. Make no mistake these are tractors, no lawnmower blood in them..
