Just got another quote here in Indiana. $24,500 for the DK40 SE HST and $21,000 for the CK35 HST. Something doesnt seem right here. I would be more than happy to travel to Ohio or Michigan to pick one up for a $2000 savings (which translates into a bit more considering sales tax). Michigan Iron declined to give me a quote by email citing that they automatically refer to local dealers whenever there is an out of state inquiry.

I'll vouch for both MIE and Aschelman Equipment. Both have given me good service.

IMHO your kind of throwing MIE under the bus with your comment.Maybe there is some type of regional buying plan in place by Kioti that you don,t know about?I just bought my 2012 Kioti hst cab model from MIE,have to tell ya one of the best buying experiences I every had.Good luck on your search.coobie

Not throwing MIE under the bus. I would imagine Korporate Kioti has policies on how aggressive dealers can be out of their own assigned zones. Some of you know Rick Wallace who was an outstanding Kioti dealer (and my own). We never heard precisely why but Kioti made it impossible for him to continue as a dealer and I suspect it was over this type of issue.

Not trying to throw them under the bus at all. In fact i thanked them and indicated that i would follow up with a phone call if i got serious about going out of state. I assumed exactly what you indicated about regional plans and also assumed that there is a policy MIE has to follow regarding internet / email inquiries from out of state. I am confident that if I called up personally they would deal with me.

I remain concerned that all those who responded got such better deals than i have been offered. I am going to try another dealer or 2 closer to me in my home state but then will venture out from there. There are incentives that at set to end at month's end and I dont know how that really affects the bottom line quote I am going to get. Is it best to buy regardless before July 1 or does anybody think i would be better off to continue to shop around into July?

I am trying to find out just what incentives are in place. I have been to two different Kioti dealers in Maine. One says that the cash rebate, of $3400 is no longer in effect, now it is a free loader and the free loader is a better deal than the cash rebate incentive. A second dealer, 2 hrs from the first dealer says the free loader is not for the DK40, but there is a $4500 cash rebate incentive in place!!???

Go to kioti website it spells out what incentives are in place for each tractor.I would print off a copy and take it with me to your dealer.coobie.

Is any of the pricing due to tier IV stuff? Or does that not make any difference in this size tractor (under 26hp?) Sorry if I missed it earlier.

Kubota has Tier IV tractors out, and they seemed pricey. Kioti does not have Tier IV tractors out that I have seen yet. One dealer told me he expects to see them in August and they will cost $300-$500 more. Another dealer I talked with didn't know when the Tier IV tractors would be delivered, but he expected them to be $2000-$3000 more!!??

All the deals end 30 June. BUT WAIT! July 1 will start a new round of incentives no doubt. Keep in mind, the current cash back amounts on the website is for a TLB. Thats Tractor/Loader and Backhoe! Cash back is reduced by $1100 without the bh.

The point being, if a model qualifies for either the cash back or a free loader, the loader is probably a better deal. (eg. DKse open station)

Is that $1.1k against a $5-6k backhoe, just out of curiousity?

My KB2485 was $8000 minus the $1100 rebate.

Kioti has had incentives of one type or another every month for the past six years at least. They play the game of announcing the specifics and keeping those in place for only a month or two at a time but they always have a roughly equivalent deal the following month. Marketing. Intended to force you to decide now instead of next month.
