What if the dealer won't or can't fix a problem?

I knew that before you said it. Your info tells your story. Doesn't TBN have a Kiotio forum?

No you don't know what I'll say before I do. Don't be so touchy. My info say's what?

If that is normal on a BX, I will never own one. That's pretty bad.

The sound of the BX sounds great to me. The deck being engaged is when the whine started so that's more a deck for you to avoid but I know you and you just hunt for reasons to knock Kubotas. Regrets?

Actually I'm looking at a f series. Kubota knocks itself if they call this normal. And NO you don't know me.

I'll bet $20 you just look at an F and try to find problems of why NOT to buy one and don't buy one. That's a firm $20 bet good for 6 months. Your replies/posts tell me who you are as mine tell who I am, along with my profile.

Regardless, I hear the whine too and it does get louder with the deck engaged. I dont know theses mowers, so will reserve judgement on what is wrong, but it sure dont sound right.

Do you have another dealer you can go to?

Well I am having a hard time finding a dealer that has F series to look at so you keep your 20 bucks. You ARE too touchy about your brand. Are you judging me?

I went through a lengthy resolution process with something on my B2920 2 years ago. The backhoe wasn't mounting correctly, and the BH frame actually had a defect. The way this process seems to work is that the dealer calls the regional Kubota rep and asks for help, the rep either helps or dumps it back into the dealers lap (and checkbook). In my case I wanted new parts and the rep wouldn't help. It took about 4 letters to Kubota in Torrence Ca and about 10 months, but my tractor parts were replaced. I wish you luck, and hope it isn't as much work as I had to apply to get it corrected.

Does your dealer have any other BX tractors set up the same sitting on their lot? If so try another one out, if it doesn't make the noise then I would ask them to fix it. If they can't I would call a few other dealers in the area and explain to them the noise and that you haven't had any luck with this dealer. Hopefully another dealer is close and will step up to win a customer for life.

You may want to rent a pto driven attachment (assuming you don't have any other attachments), something to put a load on the engine to see if it makes the same noise. Sometimes things need a load on them to act up. I wouldn't trade it in on another brand. You would most likely take a pretty good beating. Try to fix what you have and if all else fails then switch brands.

Did it always make this noise or did it start after a few hours of use?

That is what I was thinking but since it is the mid PTO he will need a mid PTO attachment. The dealer shpuld have heen able to put another mower on it.
