Don't let up, but try to be as polite as possible under the circumstances. Squeaky wheel, or in this case, rusty wheel gets the grease.:confused3:

I say this all the time to folks, make notes, keep a log for things like this.. after a while, telling the story over and over trying to get something resolved, the dates and what happened start to get mixed up without the written log. If you do it on a computer, remember to back it up. You could even attach the photos digitally.

Well I got a call to come in and look at it after the "repairs" were done,
Ill write all the concerns down and what their response was to each, I worry that just rattle can painting over a rusted part is all they did though, and the corrosion in the engine compartment on the alternator and started and any electronics that were exposed,

I owned a L3240 that was outdoors at the dealer for almost a year. The dealer was able to buff it out so it looked fine. The salesman told me that had it not cleaned up, Kubota would replace the hood, fender, or whatever was needed, and that they had done so on other tractors, sold at their dealership.

Take pictures, and copy down serial if you don't already have it.

Kubota rep says replace

Dealer says no (then its up the the dealer and rep to fight it out) Get the rep back into it and his boss if need be

HALT the truck, whatever the dealer does to the tractor is there own doing now and trying to save them selves a buck

Call the rep back and demand a new un molested by the dealer tractor, it is what YOU PAID FOR.

And for the hassle I'd be wanting free onsite service from a different dealer for a few years.


My local Kubota dealer offers onsite, and they are great no one has complained about them that I've heard and i listen. They seem to go out of their way to help, after hours and such.


Edit:
This should be a quick fix, as in not to long to sort out. The longer it take the more public it should be, facebook and papers and such. Just watch your wording so they can call slander.
