Coobie, care to fill us in on what lights, were you ordered them? I am looking to put some lights on my ROPS as I am tired of the headlights lighting up the bucket and nothing else.
Bought them off of ebay from seller toysforthebigboys777.They are 6.57 inch 36w cree led work lights 2520lm spot beam

They are 6500K

Thats ok but do not go higher. 6500k if 100% correct is still a touch blue but very close. See the standard is a range of 5500-7000K and very rare to hit the exact K value from batch to batch.

You will like them. If you do attract any bugs they will be very small bugs. Larger bugs don't really see LED because there is no UV or infrared made by LED. They may be a touch shadowy but nothing you can't live with.

Cheers Don.

I've been reasonably content with the brightness of the factory lights on my 2006 DK45SC, but I have had the problem of spruce branches sweeping past the cab and seriously mangling the brackets (enough to break the wires). For my uses, I think I need some kind of inset(flush mount) or armoured lights!

I don't have any problems with mine at all. Tones of light on my 2012.

The only complaint I have with the cab is that it is not strong enough. Parking on un even ground that is out just say 4"s I get locked into the cab. Lucky there are two doors to get out one of the two will open. If I use the left one some times it feels like I am going to break the latch off trying to open the door. If left parked and I open it from the out side no problem just tuff pressing the button. No problem with any door if parked level.

Cheers Don.
Not to sidetrack Coobies thread...but you better get under you tractor and check nuts and bolts on everything that keeps your tractor rigid, after reading your post I have tried to get my tractor twisted up to see if I have this problem....I can park it on anything, my doors open fine and do not change.
I did tighten all the loader/ backhoe subframe bolts, along with where they mount to the rear axle and cab isolator mounts after the first couple hours of use, I got about a turn to a turn and a half on most everything.

I exercised it pretty good yesterday for about 8 hours, I checked it all last night again, some of the loader subframe bolts I got about 1/8 to 1/4 turn, every thing else was still nice and tight. Things are starting to settle in. Ill check it all in another 8 to 10hours. I believe after the next tightening it will need it much less frequently.

Cree makes a great LED. Should last you a long long time.

well, just so you wont be too disappointed, i asked a manufactures rep at a trade show, and the 50,000 hour designation is only based on being left on 24/7.

anytime a light is turned on and off, it decreases this life expectancy. This is especially so with florescent. It also affects LED's.

Also, the led flashlights i buy barely outlive the battery life before the lamps start to drop out. I have a serous issue with LED's in general. Maybe after the bugs are all worked out i can get serious about getting some
